I took pictures this morning when I was in the garden. good thing. because things were looking up. But that was then and this is now (as they say). the last picture of that ditch? I could take a picture tonight and it would look the same. But best not to worry about all that. Because there's nothing you can do. We are trying so hard over here. We have customers calling us, emailing us, asking us what is ready? when can they get this and that? There is nothing left to say. We cannot get ahead of the rain. But we'll move forward. Because that's all we can do. In the meantime, here's a couple of shots of the garden this morning, before this latest spate of depressing rain:
And now:
I know this is somewhat depressing; but we will just walk forward. That is all you can do. We had no hail, no tornadoes; things could definitely be worse, right?
Glub, glub, gurgle,...urgle. Sorry about your eggplants. I need a worm gauge like yours. Hubby has a high tech gauge that sends info to a digital display in the window. The problem is that birds use the gauge as a roosting spot, so the poop has thrown off its accuracy. School is out, so I hope to post more pictures soon. I missed taking one of the chickens swimming around like ducks today. Cock-a-Doodle-POOL !
